This is how we wanted to interpret the mood of the restyling Il Giova, a typical Florentine trattoria created in the seventies by the idea of the then manager Andrea Giovannini, called il Giova. It was not easy to combine the needs of managers with the architectural characteristics in such a short space and in such a short time. Starting from a conservative restoration we wanted to reinterpret the origins of the restaurant with shapes and colors.

The counter has retained its identity as a "puzzle" wood finish where the symbolic representation of the fish has found harmony in the backgrounds of coral red and turquoise blue. The new lighting with varied and colored industrial lamps of recovery has recreated an atmosphere of conviviality and sociability typical of the old Florentine taverns.
